Our peaceful 5-bedroom lakefront home is 4 miles from Houghton and is conveniently located near the airport, Michigan Tech, Mont Ripley (3 miles) and Mount Bohemia (38 miles). Snowmobile trails are only 1/3rd of a mile away and you can ride your sled from here. Enjoy spectacular views of the lake, kayaking, and campfires on the patio. Our area is full of history and charm. Come visit! Parking for 3 trucks, plus trailers. Please Note: We charge $10 per night per person over 2 people.

You will appreciate the beauty of Lake Superior and the myriad of activities on the Keweenaw peninsula from this lovely home. Take a dip in Lake Superior right from our natural stone shoreline. The water is shallow, and just out from the stones is smooth sandstone shelf. Enjoy the comforts of this 3 bedrooms and 2 bath modern home. Large kitchen, dining and living rooms with picture windows overlooking Lake Superior. It is a perfect space to enjoy time together with friends and family.

Otter House

Otter House is a beautifully appointed log cabin in the trees overlooking Otter Lake. It is comfortably furnished with a well equipped kitchen. The lakefront has a small beach, 3 kayaks, a canoe, hammocks and a fire pit. Otter Lake is a tranquil spot with great fishing and very little boat traffic. Canoe up the Otter River or Kayak down to the dam. You will see eagles, beavers, turtles, loons, geese and if you're lucky an otter. There is a parking pad for your RV or trailer.

Within just a few steps you can be a part of the town of Copper Harbor, where you can enjoy the history of the Copper Country, sightseeing, historic Fort Wilkins, quaint gift shopping, great local cuisine, and any outdoor activity that you could possibly think of.

Minutes away from Mont Ripley Ski Hill, Michigan Tech University, local cross-country ski trails, the Houghton Co. Airport, and Lake Superior, this home has all you need to enjoy the amazing outdoor landscape of the Copper Country!

In our family for the last five decades, this homey Lakeshore cottage is prepped and ready to host newcomers to give them a taste of our Keweenaw Peninsula paradise. Enjoy a private beach with bonfire ring, recently renovated deck with furnishings, fully equipped kitchen and three bedrooms (with comfy King, Queen & Twin beds). Centrally located between Copper Harbor and Eagle Harbor, each just a short drive away.
