Nestled on Sweet River Farm, a 22 acre pastoral lavender farm adjacent to the South Umpqua River, you will feel immersed in another world and in another time even though everything Roseburg has to offer is only 5 minutes away. Sit on the front or back deck and watch wildlife at play, walk the fields, explore nearby wooded areas, listen to birds, view antics of resident sheep grazing year-round. Enjoy the quiet peace of your surroundings or be as adventurous as you feel like on a working farm.

Cozy Cottage Close to Crater Lake

The cottage is a cozy suite for two for a romantic getaway or a quiet night in the country. The property has a large lawn area with picnic tables and firepit for watching the stars and cooking s'mores. Our Cottage is the perfect size for two. It features a king size bed and two swivel chairs for relaxing as well a table for eating or working. The kitchenette has a microwave, sink, and mini-refrigerator, as well as a Keurig Coffee maker, toaster and dishes for two. There is also a bbq supplied.

Tree frog pond and waterfall in the Grape arbor. We put up our own grape juice. Heated Exercise Pool with a current also enclosed to keep the pool area pleasant. A HOT SPRINGS hot tub. This is the original 1930s McAuliffe cattle ranch, and the house was run as a bed and breakfast and fishing lodge for 20 years. President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalyn were guests here!
