You’ll be minutes convenience stores, shopping & travel on I 81 83/ I 283 / route 30 Lancaster & 76 turnpike. Downtown Harrisburg or Hershey 15 minutes & Gettysburg 50 minutes. There is much to see and do in Central Pennsylvania and you can start and end your day here, warm and toasty. Rain or Shine your trip will be extra fine.

Mohawk Cabin

Mohawk Cabin sleeps 4 adults, with a loft for children, includes a fire ring and picnic table. Camping at this cabin is "primitive"... no water, electricity, mattresses, bedding, or bath facilities. A privy is available in this camping area. Potable water, flush toilets, and showers are available on the other side of the lake. The Mohawk Cabin has a dock and swimming area that is shared with campers in that area. Lake Heron is a hidden paradise with 240 acres of woodland and a 10-acre lake.

The 'Green Point Wilds' is a 2 person RV(,think a quiet date weekend away with just the 2 of you)(a parent / child, grandparent/child) or solo!! overlooks a pond, a winding country road, n meadow/field and behind it is a trickling stream, your gaze follows the trees to the top of mountain..we are bedded down in the valley. Theres woods to the left, n an Airbnb "Green Point Getaway" on the other side of the creek and lane..far enough away to enjoy the quiet, but close to civilization..

This campsite has water and 30/50-amp electric hook-ups suitable for RVs, 5th-wheel campers, trailer campers, popup campers, or even tents. A fire pit/grill and a picnic table are provided on the campsite. A separate dock is dedicated for the use of RV campers. A "comfort station" is nearby, with two flush toilets and two coin-operated showers. There is an abundance of the wildlife in the 240 acres of woodland; everything from squirrels and deer to turkeys and bears!
