Háafell Lodge

Welcome to Háafell Farm where we raise sheep, keep horses and have one friendly dog. Our private guest house is located 200 meters above the farm, up the mountain at 130 meters above sea level. It is a recently built (2020), 100 square meter, modern “turf house style” house. Háafell means “The High Mountain” and has a long river that cascades down its side with several tiers of waterfalls. It is a five minute walk to our canyon and it is possible to take a cold bath in one of the waterfalls.

Welcome to the breathtaking landscape of West Iceland. The mirrored vacation home is surrounded by untouched nature, is located directly by the sea and offers a fantastic view of the fjord and mountains. With a bit of luck, you can watch seals and sea eagles and many other birds right from the front door. The cottages at Thurranes are 43 square meters. Two bedrooms, each with a double bed and a sleeping loft that fits 2 adults. The house can accommodate 6 adults. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. The house is equipped with a kitchen, where you find a little stove, a sink, a microwave and refrigerator. The living room has a couch and a small TV set. A small bathroom with a shower. Hot water, central heating but no WiFi A private hot tub, chairs and a gas BBQ are on the deck.

The working farm Nedri-Hundadalur is located 120 km west of Reykjavik. We are in the center of Snæfellsnes, Borgarfjörður and West fjords. We offer a camper suite, with kitchen and wc. Outside the camper is a hot tub, you can use, just let us know if you want. The sleeping space is for 4 slit to two grown ups and two children. The environment is beautiful and peaceful.
