The Wenning is a cosy country house in rural setting within a short distance of the three-peaks, Yorkshire Dales and the Trough of Bowland. The Lake District is just 35 minutes away. Completely refurbished in 2015 to a high specification; it has underfloor heating, solar thermal, MHVR (ventilation system), great wall insulation, double glazing and room thermostats.

Dorothy’s place is part of an 18th Century Villa. Adults only no children allowed. Everything you need for that perfect romantic break. Guests get full use of the large garden and woodland to take in the stunning view. If travelling by train our advice would be get a taxi from the station as can be difficult to find on foot . Guests are welcome to park up as early as you want before check in or drop luggage off in a safe place,but please let us know in advance.
