Lenore's Room - Mooreland Garden Inn

The Mooreland Garden Inn is steps away from Dickinson College, Penn State Dickinson Law, the Central PA Youth Ballet, and Historic Carlisle. It is the perfect place to stay when taking a school tour or visiting for an event. We are a short drive to the US Army War College, and Carlisle Events Car Shows. The 100 year old manor home has been elegantly updated to accommodate our guests. Each room has a private bath, Comphy Sheets, and soft Turkish Towels and bathrobes. WIFI, Cable TV, Snacks, Beverages and Breakfast included.

The Aquarium - 1st Floor King/Private Bath

Welcome to The Old House, an early 1800s home situated on 2 acres with a private pool for guest use. The property offers the best of town and country with a private, tranquil and relaxing setting within easy walking distance of bars, restaurants, shops and downtown Mechanicsburg. Your private suite includes king bed, mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Quality Towels, Shampoo, Conditioner and body wash are provided as well as coffee supplies and dishes.

The Carlisle House - Penn Suite

The Penn Suite features 2 spacious bedrooms, each with a queen, and its own private kitchen with all appliances for your use. There's even a washer and dryer! The kitchen is adjacent to your private living room where you can relax after exploring downtown Carlisle. The suite also includes a private bathroom with tub, shower with rainfall shower head, and a bright and airy skylight. You'll enjoy our complimentary spa like products, complete with hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body scrub.

City House B&B is a blend of historic charm and modern amenities. The Bryce room has an excellent view of the river with a King bed and en-suite bath. This room is one of four in a licensed bed and breakfast. Common living spaces include a den with a DVD player and TV, a living room, a dining room, a sun room and a veranda. There's plenty of seating outside with a table and a large, fenced-in yard. You'll also get a free parking space in our private parking lot located right behind the B&B.

The Carlisle House - Ewing Room

For your comfort, this front room has been equipped with a burl wood four poster king bed, work desk with Ethernet and wireless internet connections. A double in-room whirlpool bath with twin showers offers you enjoyment by the light of the early 1930s pewter chandelier, and a private half bath completes the room. The ornamental fireplace, the marbleized slate mantle, 11 foot ceilings with both crown and chair moldings, lend an appropriate period touch to the decor of this dramatic room.

Stuart Suite at Stuart Manor Bed and Breakfast

Welcome to Stuart Manor, a mid-1800's Brick Italianate Home constructed by John Stuart, an early Cumberland County Judge. The home was fully restored 2016-2019. This home features 5 guest rooms, each with a private bath, high speed wi-fi, daily breakfast and well appointed, luxurious rooms. Guests are welcome to use the private pool, patios and fire pit as well as enjoy the beautiful interior. A few original details include walnut stair case, ornate crown moldings, five fireplaces.

The Carlisle House - Jessie's Room

This suite features pine flooring, original lighting fixtures, and an ornamental fireplace. The en-suite bathroom features a spa-like shower with six front body jets for a luxury feel! Also enjoy the spacious seat for a healing massage from ten powerful pulsating back-jets, and a thermostatic valve so you can pre-set your ideal water temperature. At the work table, there is both Ethernet and wireless internet connection, and of course a power strip to recharge your smart devices.

The Carlisle House - Rose Room

This guest favorite features a king bed and a private sitting area with accent chairs and a TV. Originally the bedroom of the Ewing twins, whose family arrived in Carlisle in 1849, was papered with the present rose design in the 1930's. The wide plank yellow pine floorboards and the original pocket-shutters are small parts of the history that remains. The bathroom includes a 5ft soaking tub, with a Grohe Aquatower multi-jetted shower unit and a marble topped double vanity.

The Carlisle House - Hearth Room

This room is ideally and comfortably located on the first floor at the rear of the Inn. It has its own private entrance for convenience. The suite features a comfortable sleigh bed, a late 19th century fireplace façade, comfortable high-back chair and well-lit work area with both Ethernet and wireless internet connection, and of course a power strip to recharge your smart devices. The bathroom has a walk-in corner shower with a rainfall shower head, for added enjoyment.

The Carlisle House - Bailey Suite

The Bailey Suite features 2 spacious bedrooms, one with a queen and daybed and one with two twin beds. It has its own private kitchen with all appliances for your use. The kitchen is adjacent to your private living room where you can relax after exploring downtown Carlisle. The suite also includes two private bath rooms with a rainfall shower-head. You'll enjoy our complimentary spa like products, complete with hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body scrub.

The Carlisle House - Anna Woods Room

This suite is ideally and comfortably located on the first floor at the rear of the inn. The room is decorated in soft French accents with a comfortable lounging chair, worktable, and large bathroom. Relax in the five-foot soaker tub or revitalize with the European multi-jetted shower. The decorative porcelain vessel sink is set into one of the china cabinets of the 1826 dining room and features the original brick wall of the house.

The Carlisle House - English Library

This room features beautiful encased book shelves to either side of the ornamental marbleized slate fireplace and a queen sleigh bed. A separate half bath with double vanity is en-suite and an in-room double whirlpool with twin showers can be enjoyed under chandelier light from the 11-foot ceiling. At the work table, there is both Ethernet and wireless internet connection, and of course a power strip to recharge your smart devices.
