The View, Isle of Lewis Lodges (Elsa, lodge 2)

Large, five star rated, luxury lodges on the family croft of your host, located on the peaceful, beautiful island of Great Bernera. Connected by bridge to Lewis, you will find yourself away from it all yet close to many of the sublime beaches and historical places of interest which these stunning islands offer. Stornoway with it's shops and restaurant is just half an hour away and award winning Bosta beach with it’s Iron Age house only 10 min. There is an abundance of wildlife on your doorstep.

Otter Bothy

Otter Bothy is a small, self contained cabin right on the banks of West Loch Roag, in the village of Carishader, perfectly situated for wildlife, fishing, walking, cycling, surfing and kayaking. Otter Bothy is situated beside Otter Bunkhouse, but offers private accommodation in a small but very cosy cabin, with spectacular views across West Loch Roag. At only a few metres from the shoreline, there aren't many places as close to the water as this! The minimum stay is 2 nights. No dogs.

The Summerhouse @20

Enjoy island croft life at 'Summer House @20'. Based on the west coast, our pod is the perfect place to access many highlights of a visit to the Hebrides. Situated between the historic sites of Calanais and the Broch, it is also next to breathtaking beaches, hills and coastline. The village of Breasclete is on East Loch Ròg, at the end of the panoramic Pentland moorland road, with opportunities to appreciate the island's wildlife, traditional crofting at work and an active Gaelic community.

"Sandig" Cosy 1 bedroom Log Cabin Dog Friendly

'Sandig' is a cosy 1 bedroom log cabin in a prime location to explore the historic attractions of the westside of Lewis. Located in close proximity to the Hebridean Way, Sandig is ideal as a base to visit such sites as the Callanish Stones, Garenin Blackhouses and Doune Carloway Broch. Carloway is also home to two stunning beaches, Dal Mor and Dal Beag, and is ideal for hillwalkers, cyclists, surfers, birdwatchers, or even those looking for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.

Heron's View

Heron's View is a lovely, light, airy, spacious and well presented glamping pod. It has all you need for a comfortable stay from a well kitted out kitchen, bathroom with full size shower to a comfortable sitting area. It has a double bed and the sofa converts to a double bed. It benefits from underfloor heating. It has an unique position with an uninterrupted view of the sea and surrounding landscape. It takes its name from the two Heron's that nest on the island opposite the pod.

The Mangersta Pod

When you arrive at The Mangersta Pod you will find yourself in an extremely clean and comfortable haven. To ensure you have a good night's sleep the camping mattresses were replaced by a comfortable mattress right from the start. Situated in the village of Mangersta on the Atlantic coast of Lewis, the pod is a few minutes walk away from a remote beach and stunning cliff walks. This is an area of exceptional natural beauty with over 20 beaches as well as beautiful moorland and lochs.

The Yurt @ Ranish

The yurt is a tiny relaxing space . It is situated in Ranish , which is about 8 miles out of Stornoway and although it is at the back of a residential house you will feel like you are out on the crofts that surround it in this rural area of Lewis . The Croft fields around have a mixture of animals , including sheep , goats , geese , ducks & of course chickens , which can be a wee bit vocal at times . We have some very friendly chickens on the property as well .

Bayview Croft House

Bayview Croft House was built in the 1930s and has remained in the same family ever since. It is a traditional two bedroomed detached holiday cottage with the world famous Callanish stones right on its doorstep. If you are an outdoor enthusiast there are many local beaches and areas of outstanding natural beauty all within easy reach. As well as good opportunities for fresh and salt water fishing within walking distance. Sorry we do not take pets.

North Beach House Apartment

North Beach Apartment is a recently renovated one bedroom apartment, located in central Stornoway. It looks over the town centre and onto the Lews Castle Grounds. Local amenities are within walking distance of the apartment: Co-op, coffee shops, Harris Tweed shop, bars, restaurants, butchers and fish mongers. It is well equipped with everything you need for your stay. An ideal accommodation for a couple looking to explore the Western Isles.

Taigh Aosd

Come stay in our newly renovated traditional croft house, An Taigh Aosd, which is the gaelic for The Old House, Originally built in 1939. Our house is located in Breasclete which is a very central location on the island, we are less than 2 miles from the Callanish stones and a 10 minute drive to the beach. An Taigh Aosd has 2 bedrooms, a large kitchen and a cosy sitting room with a stove. There is also a secret room if you manage to find it.

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery,

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery is a green roofed, original wooden round house with picture windows giving an uninterrupted view of the sea across to the Isle of Scalpay and South East Harris. Features include a central dome roof window, a bath room, a kitchen, comfortable chairs and a wood burning stove, and of course a double bed. The property enjoys a southerly aspect with masses of natural light, is well insulated, warm and cosy
