There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

We offer guests a contact free stay in our detached studio suite in the Lake District.To refresh the studio and to complete intensive cleaning we block off a day either side of every booking. The studio has a king-sized bed, dining table & chairs, a very comfortable sofa, TV, lobby, wet room, small kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, tableware, cutlery. Patio doors open on to a private sun terrace overlooking the garden and surrounding fields. Parking next to the studio.

Apple House is a quiet retreat where you can completely unwind. With beautiful changing views to the wildlife garden and pond, the kitchen garden and the hills beyond. Standing in the gardens of Hylands, a fine Arts and Crafts House, to the West of Kendal. It is decorated using quality local materials and skills of local crafts people. It is 12 minutes walk to Kendal town center's many independent shops, cafes and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub 'The Rifleman's Arms'.

Nannygoat Cottage is a converted stable on a small private country estate in the Lake District's Lyth Valley, private drive, ponds and fields, perfect for exploring the area, well located, rural and peaceful. The local pub is a short stroll away down a country lane. Relax in comfortable surroundings, the downstairs bedrooms and upstairs lounge with log burner takes full advantage of the scenery. The mid-level kitchen dining area gives access to the garden & outdoor seating.

Converted barn, tucked away in a rural setting with stunning views, just a 10 minute drive to Bowness. Spacious, inviting interiors with comfy sofas & log burning stove, designed for family, friends, loved ones to come together. Well equipped kitchen. Table seats 4 with views across barn & fells. Warm and cosy bedrooms with their own views. Bedroom and bathroom on each floor for a little added privacy. Doors open onto a secure garden & 2 well behaved dogs welcome.

Kendal Castle minutes away, a nearby hotel offers pool and gym. Kendal hosts Brewery Arts Centre, one of leading arts centres in the UK. Parking is in front of the house. Welcoming guests from all nationalities, faiths and backgrounds, sadly no pets in the cottage. Children welcome with books/games/ toys adapted to age.
