Otley Ranch Guesthouse

This cozy little house, finished in 2020, is located on a small working ranch in Harney County, Oregon. Come to the ranch and relax in the wide open or go explore the many things around the county. Room for a horse in the corrals or pasture. Well-mannered dogs welcome, but please bring a bed or crate for them. I'd rather not have animals on the furniture. RV Hookup available for extra friends or family for an extra fee. Send me a note when you book, and I can adjust the booking for you.

Elk Ridge Cabin in the pines

Secluded off-grid cabin in the forest where you can unplug from life's busyness. Our custom crafted cabin features hardwood flooring, blue pine paneling, a queen bed in upstairs loft, wood stove, propane heater, window mount air cooler, ceiling fan. Solar powered with backup generator, propane oven/stove, fridge & water heater. BBQ, no microwave. TV with supply of videos, a front deck, hammock, picnic area, green lawn and yard games. Cell phone service. Best suitable for 2 adults and kids.

Cowboy Cabin-1 Bedroom with Porch & BBQ

Enjoy star gazing, high desert views in this small hand hewn cabin, a unique overnight stay. We are located in REMOTE Southeastern Oregon, the cabin is on the premises of Steens Mountain Guest Ranch. A Wi-Fi repeater is available in the cabin (if the weather is stormy the Wi-Fi can be spotty). Phone service and shopping areas getting here are few & far between. This is rural living. Enjoy the quietness of the country and a beautiful sage brush view. Friendly reminder: no pets in cabin.

High Desert Hideaway

Pets allowed inside if potty trained. Just a 5.3 miles from town. It is on the south side of Highway 20 east of Burns, you must go past Red Barn Road. There is red reflectors to help find the driveway at night. It’s a on a pivot that with permission and caution about buildings, pivot, equipment and the highway you may shoot ground squirrels and jack rabbits! There is a corral for horses and a kennel for dogs. It is centrally located for horse activities like cuttings, brandings.

The Cawlfield House (Circa 1929)

The historic Cawlfield House was built by my grandfather in 1929. It has been beautifully restored with modern amenities and comforts. It has an updated Kitchen, Living, Dining, Bath, Office & two Bedrooms (1 plush queen bed down, 1 plush queen bed up & 1 trundle bed). Many of the furnishings came from Joanna Gaines collections. We've sincerely strived to consider your needs, including A/C. We'd love to host you! We are confident you'll enjoy the homes comforts and history!

This house sits on a corner lot in a quiet neighborhood. 1 bathroom and 3 bedrooms on the main floor, and 1 queen bed in the basement with its own TV/DVD player. This house has been totally remodeled and updated. All new appliances, furnishings, floors, and fixtures. Beautiful large yard with a back deck to enjoy your evenings while in the area.

The Outlook

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located on a remote eastern Oregon cattle ranch. Wildlife viewing, star gazing at it's best. Winter months are snow shoeing, cross country skiing, or a good book by the fire. Beautiful views in all directions, and we are the only ranch in sight. Sandhill Suite

The Sandhill Suite is a newly remodeled home conveniently located five miles east of Burns just off highway 20. This cozy two bedroom home was remodeled in early 2023 and has lots of amenities to offer. Its a great option for extended stays or a quick weekend getaway and sleeps up to four people. Pets are welcome and will be safely contained in the fully fenced yard. Come enjoy Harney County beauty and experience the Sandhill Suite!

Baby Bear’s Playhouse

Baby Bear's Playhouse is conveniently located across the street from the grocery store, 3 blocks from downtown restaurants & shopping, and an easy 2-minute drive to the hospital. This tiny house/studio offers a large yard for your pet and kiddos to play, plenty of off-street parking and a shared picnic area complete with BBQ and firepit.
