Ben's Hut

Set on a working sheep farm, Ben’s Hut offers a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format --- we charge an additional £10 per night for the bunk, this is added automatically when you book for 3 people. There is a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Fully insulated with central heating the hut is cosy warm at any time of year. Nearby:- Beamish Museum (a must see!!), Roman Wall, Durham, Kilhope Mining Museum, Metro Centre.

The Sit Back Shack

The “Sit Back Shack” is completely off-grid, giving you the chance to disconnect, relax, and truly unwind in nature. Situated beneath an old Elm tree this bespoke Shepherd's Hut is surrounded by wonderful views of Teesdale that can be enjoyed from the comfort of the hut, relaxing in the wood fired hot tub or sitting around the fire pit. This Hut encourages indulgence as well as simple living. Sumptuous interiors, good sized bathroom with a heated towel rail. A generous dining table and comfortable upholstered chairs. Fully equipped bijou kitchen, comfy king sized bed and electric heating for extra cosiness.

Our beautiful shepherd's hut sits in four acres of secluded woodland in rural Hexhamshire. Enjoy the peaceful solitude, with glimpsed views through the mature oaks onto the North Pennines. Surrounded by miles of footpaths, bridleways and moorland, there are walking, cycling and riding options in every direction. Nearby rural pubs offer delicious local ales and fantastic food. Or cook up something tasty over the firepit grill, then enjoy a drink on the raised deck in the evening sun.

This 95 year old upcycled railway carriage is the perfect getaway for two. Get cozy and settle into this rustic space with a wood fired hot tub and sweeping views of the North Yorkshire countryside. Set in 300 acres on a working farm with plenty of walking onsite and in the local area. Despite her age the carriage includes all modern luxuries such as en suite bathroom with toilet and shower, oven, fridge, tv, WiFi, eco friendly touches and full size double bed. We only have one hut, making it a very private, peaceful and exclusive retreat. Nestled in a beautiful dell, surrounded by trees, it overlooks a duck pond and the remains of the old stone limekilns. Plenty of wildlife for nature lovers including a flock of friendly rare breed sheep, hens, rabbits, and owls.
