Little Blue House on Birch

Welcome to this single residential family home. Central location easy access to all amenities, seawalk , local trails and more. Outdoor swimming pool/park/tennis courts across the street. 10 minute walk to the Discovery Pier for fishing or ice cream cone. One block to our Museum. Two blocks from our hospital. A 40 minute drive to Mount Washington ski/biking/hiking resort. A 15 minute drive to the cool waters and sandy beaches of Mcivor lake. A peek-a-boo ocean view from the covered porch.

Above All Cottage on Quadra Island

Above All is a studio cottage with a verandah overlooking an acreage. It features stained glass windows, plank floors, a well equipped kitchenette and private bath with restored claw foot tub (no shower). Internet on the island is often spotty, but most guests find the cottage wifi satisfactory. The cottage is located within walking distance to the ferry, shops at Quathiaski Cove and island trails. The owners live on site in a separate residence and have a small friendly mixed breed dog.

This snug, hand-built cottage features large windows and a deck looking toward Hague Lake and the rocky scapes of Turtle Island. It’s tucked away in a small grove of towering Cedar and Fir trees, but in the heart of uptown Mansons Landing with stores and a bakery cafe just steps away. It is ten min. walk to swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking at kid-friendly Sandy Beach, or a 15 min. walk down to an ocean beach and Mansons Lagoon. Friday Market and Cortes Museum are a short stroll away.

Our " floathouse" has everything a guest could want, privacy and a beautiful waterfront location on the Whaletown Lagoon. There is a shared family dock for launching your kayaks, swimming, or just relaxing and watching the changing of the tides. Its vintage ambience combines much of its original historical nature and water travels with modern updates. A former bunk house for hand logging camps and part of our floating household, its traveling days are now over.
