There is plenty to do and see in the area. It is a peaceful and private place with absolutely everything you need to hand. The views and the scenery are stunning. The cabin is completely self contained set in its own garden. There are great walks and drives nearby. Or just spend time, sitting on the deck gazing at the magical view.

Blue Boat is a unique glamping stay w it’s own deck, sea view, cooking facilities and separate private bathroom in a gorgeous village on the foot of Mount Brandon. The area is known for amazing walks, watersports and stunning beaches, one of which is a minutes walk away. Brandon Pier with the famous Murphy’s bar & restaurant (Best pub in Munster 2024) is just a 3 minute walk away and a great swimming spot. Beautifully converted using natural building materials, the space is light, peaceful and open, heated with a cosy wood burner. The interior is handmade, restored or salvaged by us. We provide sourdough, homemade jam, a homemade tipple & a few staples on arrival. A rural retreat right in the heart of vibrant West Cork.

The Still Retreat

The Still Retreat is a private, self-contained apartment attached to our family home, located just 10 minutes from Killarney town in the heart of Muckross. The “retreat” is equipped with a sauna, ice bath, outdoor shower and fire pit overlooking Mangerton Mountain. Perfect for hikers, outdoor enthusiasts or individuals just looking to relax and escape to the countryside. The INEC is only five minutes away alongside local attractions, Torc waterfall and Muckross House

The cottage is full of rustic charm & a perfect base for exploring West Cork. Heated by a wood stove, for which we will supply wood, it has everything you need for a tranquil romantic getaway. Take it easy at this unique, tranquil and totally private getaway. Set on 17 acres of rural unspoilt wilderness. The property has a private lake, stunning views undestrubed by modern life and urban lighting. Ballyrisode beach is a 5 minutes drive away along with numberous walking trials in the area one of which is located at the foot of the property. Schull, a lively little fishing village with shops, retuarants and pubs, is only a 5 minute drive away.

Trag Retreat is a lovely self catering holiday cottage is completely private with a private Hot Tub in the rear garden which has sea views. The large patio and the elevated hot tub maximise the stunning views. A complete renovation of the cottage was undertaken to the highest of specifications while still retaining the original character of the premises.
