Highlands Lodge

Highlands Lodge is a magnificent stone and timber chalet nestled amongst 150 year old deciduous English Elm and many other European Trees. It is beautiful year round but particularly in Autumn. Located at Black Mountain (approx. half way between Sydney and Brisbane) in the heart of the beautiful New England Region, it is only 25 minutes north of Armidale and 10 minutes south of Guyra. The beautiful Gwydir River is a block away where you can swim, kayak and watch the world go by. Local horse-riding tours are a few minutes walk away, and you’ll often hear the sound of horse hooves walking up the street. The main street, iconic Roxy Theatre, pubs, and shops are a block away. Glen Waverly Farm Stay

With a comfortable Queen size bed, and a single rollaway bed for extra guests, our cottage is well appointed and comfortable. The verandah is great for sitting outside and enjoying a cool drink whilst looking at the picturesque valley, and beautiful sunsets.
