There is plenty of outdoor space, which opens onto bright paddock views and gentle birdsong.-We are lucky to have the picturesque village of Palnackie at the end of our driveway, where you are assured a warm welcome at the shop, cafe and pub.-There are also many beautiful walks on our doorstep.-Experience our incredible dark night sky and view the Milky Way from your garden.

The Sea Cubby, Private Holiday Lodge, Portling.

The Sea Cubby is a unique wee holiday lodge overlooking the Solway Firth. It is perched just above the waves with the most beautiful views across Portling Bay to the white sands of Merse Head nature reserve. The Lodge is not in a holiday park it stands alone with it's own private driveway, parking and garden. It’s so quiet, a retreat to escape and relax, by sitting watching and listening to the waves. The Lodge has a large glass roofed deck. Well behaved dogs are considered, please ask first.

Secret Trails Holiday Lodge, Kippford, Sleeps 5

Lovely wooden holiday lodge in a beautiful scenic area on the Solway coast. This lodge has 3 bedrooms, open plan kitchen /living area, toilet and shower room, balcony, and parking for two cars. (sorry, no pets allowed) We are 10 mins walk from the tidal estuary, cockle shell beach and woodland walks , & 2min ride from Dalbeattie 7 Stanes Mountain bike trails Sadly The Anchor village pub closed in Dec25, and The Mariner won't open until summer 26. Other pubs/takeaways within 5-10min drive.

Brigston Cottage is one of the oldest in the hamlet. It is centrally located in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway Ideal for exploring the whole area.This is a non pet property.
