Cute Athens is only 5 miles away, and Canton's First Monday is 30 miles away. After a fun day of fishing, kayaking, SUP races, swimming in the lake, pedal boating, feeding the ducks, cornhole, or frisbee throwing enjoy a gorgeous east TX sunset with your favorite beverage and then a fire with s'mores.

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

Lastly this is a lake front property, especially in the spring and summertime there can be a lot of flying insects.

This stunning 2-bedroom, 2-full-bath lake house offers breathtaking 8-mile views of Lake Palestine, creating a perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. You may also enjoy docking your boat or fishing at the boathouse. We have 2 private boat ramps for you to use in the neighborhood. (Key to unlock the gate for the boat ramps is on the key rack). Please always place back on the key rack. It is $100 to replace.
