Casa da Eira Velha

Small rural stone house restored with private garden and parking, offers tranquillity and a stunning view to Serra da Freita and Frecha da Mizarela waterfall. Great starting point to reach the remote hills of Freita, where you can enjoy long hikes, river baths or simply visit the geological and archaeological sites of Arouca Geopark. Located in a small rural village in the hills, nearby you can find a grocery store and good restaurant with local gastronomy. Porto city is just 50 min away by car.

Great-grandfather Brandão's House

Casa Brandão was built by our gran grandfather Frederico Brandão in 1904 and is located nearby the river beach of Burgães in Vale de Cambra. In the proximities of the house begins 2 walking routes and a bicycle route on the banks of the river Caima. Other attractions: The Paiva walkways, the bridge 516 Arouca, the Freita Montain and the water fall Fecha da Mizarela. The property is located approximately at 70 Km (43 miles) of the airport of Oporto and 60 Km (37 miles) of the city of Oporto.

Granary House Arouca

Charming bungalow on a Manor with Pool and Garden

The holiday bungalow (approx. 70 m²) is located on an estate with a renovated, antique mansion house near Aveiro (25 km), Porto (50 km) and Coimbra (65 km). For the guests of this bungalow, there are three terraces: a small terrace bordered by hedges, another large terrace with barbecue and seating and a roof terrace from which, depending on the weather, you can see the sea in the distance. The 5000 m² lower garden has footpaths, countless trees, shrubs and a fish pond.

This house is the ideal place for resting and enjoying the rural life. The house was rebuilt in 2017. The work was lead by a young and talented architect. The main material is wood and glass for allowing you to feel the surrounding nature entering the house. Villa located in the heart of the Geopark, 2 km from the center of Arouca and 50 km from the city of Porto (about 50 minutes). The accommodation has a bedroom with double bed and sofa bed, kitchen and bathroom. The large swimming pool, small heated pool (solar panels), room with jacuzzi and gym, barbecue and football field are areas to be shared.
