Orchard House is a large family home full of character providing bed and breakfast accommodation in the quiet village of Steeple Bumpstead. The nearest town, Haverhill, is 3 miles away while Cambridge and Stanstead airport are only a 30 minute drive away. 5 private bedrooms share 2 bathrooms, both with bath and separate shower. Use of lounge and kitchen including microwave and fridge. There is also a large sunny garden and patio for guests to use. Continental breakfast provided in room rate.

TV has Netflix, Amazon Prime, iPlayer, ITVx etc. Bathroom to include shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc. Buses at the end of the road, so is a big Asda and petrol garage and a few shops, post box, ATM machines and a pub. Lovely park next door to Asda.

House located on a quiet road. Bedroom is at the rear of the property. Double bed, all new linen & towels. Refreshment tray, smart tv, desk & hanging space in your own closet. Bathroom all fully refurbished with demister mirror. Continental breakfast served in the dining room, secluded garden area available for your use. Distance from Chelmsford city is a 20 minute walk, 5 minute drive & buses run regularly from the end of the road. London Liverpool Street is a 25 minute train journey.

Danbury Cottage

Two bedrooms available, one double with King size bed and one single room with own shared bathroom. I serve you continental breakfast included free of charge between 7.30 and 9.00am on request. It is possible to put a temporary bed in the single room. It would be a bit limiting but we will do this on request foc. The kitchen is not available to guests. The dining room can be used with a microwave for hot food. There is a small fridge and tea making facilities in large bedroom.

Magical medieval timbered cottage, looking over the green to the spires of Melford Hall, 5 minutes walk from the huge 14th century Holy Trinity Church (you can hear the bells on Sunday morning). The bustling village centre is just 7 minutes walk away with 3 gastro pubs, various beauty salons, hairdressers, antique & gift shops galore, tea rooms & independent clothes shops. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful rural walks through water meadows by the river and open farmland.

Two bedrooms (one ensuite bathroom shared by all) in the heart of Manningtree. Close to the Stour Estuary and local amenities including pubs, restaurants, such as the Mistley Thorn and cosy cafes. On The Essex Way and close to Dedham & Constable Country (AONB). Parking available, and a 15min walk to station, 1 hour to London Liverpool Street. Rooms only for families/very close friends as those in the second bedroom will need to share the en-suite bathroom in the main bedroom.

Our comfortable king-size bedroom with own bathroom, in a separate area upstairs in our house, overlooks a lovely walled garden in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in England. We also have an adjacent smaller twin bedroom which is available for the same group or perfect for families with children (aged 5 upwards). Both bedrooms share the same private bathroom. Please note that there is a minimum 2 night stay for more than 2 guests.
