Tranquil Smithfield Cottage in Country Setting

My place is close to family-friendly activities , approx 5 mins from the Ashburton township and an hour away from the Christchurch airport and Mt Hutt Skifield. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with children). In June 2019 we have added additional accommodation of two beds (without bathroom facilities just along from main unit) and table and chairs. Ideal for groups busy exploring. Bathoom facilities provided in main unit suitable for 6 people.

Fully equipped the studio features its own shower room and kitchenette (ground floor) for your breakfast needs. Ample parking is available on the property in front.

Dromore Downs is a modern farm homestead nestled in a picturesque country setting just minutes from Ashburton and a 1 hour drive from Christchurch. Spacious and stylish this property is perfect if you are looking for a restful country experience, travelling, skiing at the Mt Hutt Ski Field or exploring the countryside which includes 'Edoras' (Mt Sunday), Lord of the Rings filming location. The nearby villages boast outlets for local arts, crafts and antiques, and a fine swimming pool for the many hot summer days.

In a quiet farm setting only 3 km from the centre of Ashburton and S.H. 1 to Christchurch, Dunedin or Queenstown.
