Spend a day on the lake and take advantage of your private dock (dock is seasonal due to winter water levels being low) Bring your boat (trailer parking on property) or use our kayaks to paddle around the cove. After your lake day, retreat to this cozy bungalow on a wooded lot. Grill-out and enjoy the outdoor eating area, sit by the fire or chill on the deck overlooking the lake. Close to boat ramps and marinas who offer gas dock, boat rentals and restaurants.

Owl Creek Chapel

This unique and peaceful stained-glass chapel next to a creek will make you feel like you're staying in an enchanted forest right in the heart of Alpharetta. Recline in the hot tub or relax around the firepit before taking a short stroll across our tree bridge. Escape the Atlanta heat by reclining in the soaking tub or lounging on the comfortable bed under a cedar shingle ceiling. Relaxation, restoration, and renewal await you as you arrive at the peaceful surroundings of Woodsy Retreat, a cottage nestled back in the trees on 5 private acres!!  Prepare to relax here at the cottage with all the comforts of home, but without all the chaos!  The cottage comes complete with these outdoor amenities: hammock, rocking chairs, fire pit, games, grill & more! After hosting hundreds of guests for nearly 5 years, our guests tell us they always leave feeling rested and restored!

Little House on the Quarry

We’d like to invite you to the “Little House on the Quarry.” We purchased this old rock quarry and it hasn’t been mined since 1968. The water is crystal clear blue and up to 75ft deep. It has rock walls up to 100ft high. The camping is completely secluded with breathtaking views and an outdoor shower. There is a walking trail that leads to another lookout with a rose garden. This isn’t like anything you’ll find in GA. Access to the quarry/water is available for an additional fee upon arrival.

Secluded Waterfall Cabin.

Romantic, rustic cabin at the base of a 35-foot waterfall, nestled in the middle of 16 secluded acres surrounded by national forest that extends to the Chattooga River. This magical get-away caters to those with an adventurous spirit. Hike from the cabin to additional waterfalls, bike down Turkey Ridge Road to Opossum Creek Trail and the Five Falls or drive two miles to the Chattooga Belle Farm. The Waterfall Cabin is a joy to us all, and we hope you love it as much as we do. No cleaning fee.

Plenty of privacy & quiet space. Our modern farmhouse styled space is sure to make your stay cozy and enjoyable. Come and relax with plenty of board games to play, your favorite series on Netflix or Prime to watch, or curl up on our outdoor swing bed and read a book. Enjoy the outdoors with full private access to the pool (open seasonally), an outdoor fire place, and a new hot tub and walking trails to enjoy the outdoors. We DO live onsite and may spend time behind the barn in our shops.
