Located in a central Northside location close to walking trails, walking bridge, downtown, several restaurants and breweries. Security cameras are on all exterior doors of our property

Now is the best time to see the fall colors here. The Loons Nest gives you the perfect vantage point to watch the colors almost come on fire as the sun goes down on the opposite shore of the river. This quiet location feels like your miles from the beaten path, actually your just 18 minutes to Fredericton and 3 min to amenities, like NB Liquor, convenience store, restaurant and gas. Mangata Mactaquac wants you to leave all your stress behind when you stay at our cabin in the woods. We are located on a beautiful property with streams, waterfall, wood fired hot tub, hiking, biking, and outdoor fire pit with cooking grill and more. Our cabins are situated just steps to the hiking trails of Mactaquac Provincial Park. Lazy Maple Cabin has all the comforts of home, while providing you with one of the most beautiful places to relax in the area. We also have 4 other cabins!

Black Bear Lodge

We require 24 hours notice when booking. The lodge is 15 minutes from Fredericton city limits in Noonan approximately 2 km in the woods on a private road. It runs on solar and wind power with backup generator. We offer skating, snowshoeing, hiking and boating depending on the weather. Fishing is also offered at an additional cost. There is a stand up shower and sink in the bathroom with hot and cold water as well as a toilet, a propane stove and fridge in the kitchen. Woodstoves for heat.

Our family is lucky to live on a little farm right here in Fredericton, and over the past few years we’ve been turning an old barn into a cozy, cabin-like studio for our guests.
