Ashwood Barn

Ashwood barn in the beautiful village of Wrightington. Only 5 mins from junction 27 M6. An old cow shed, converted to a beautiful 3 bedroom cottage with original oak beam features. There’s 3 double/twin bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Downstairs is open plan traditional kitchen, dining area and living room with log burner. The cottage is a quiet retreat, not suited to loud parties. Well behaved ponies (spare stable) & dogs welcome, dogs must be kept on lead as chickens, sheep and goats roam free!

A beautiful 1863 home in the heart of historic Croston, opposite the village green with two dog-friendly pubs and excellent restaurants. The Retreat is set in the heart of the Wrightington countryside. It is easy to get to, just a few minutes drive from J27 of the M6. Built on a working family run farm it offers stunning views from the living area that is based on the second floor. There are plenty of beautiful local walks in the area and places to eat and shop. Anyone wanting to visit the coast both Blackpool and Southport are within a 30 minute drive and cities like Preston, Manchester and Liverpool are also close by.

The Annex - relax in quiet, charming setting.

The annex, detached from the main house, is set within a beautiful landscaped garden. The spacious bedroom has a double bed and a Smart TV (you will have access to Sky, Netflix, Apple+, Paramount) the bathroom has a walk-in shower. The separate living area has a dining table, sofa and small fridge. Tea and coffee making facilities, cutlery and crockery (for takeaways etc.) are provided. Parking is at the front or side of the house. There is access to strong WiFI . Pets are welcome.

This superb home looks out onto the village cricket green and from the rear, picturesque views of Brinscall Woods, Great Hill, Winter Hill, Rivington and the West Pennine Moors. You may walk, run or cycle from the front or the rear gate into miles of upland moorlands, tree lined valleys, rivers and reservoirs.

Newly completed, Swallows’ Rest lies in the heart of the Lancashire countryside. Originally a stable block, it has been lovingly transformed into a superbly appointed 3-bedroom holiday home. Swallows’ Rest has a modern open plan layout a well-equipped kitchen, relaxing lounge and private garden that overlooks our meadow and stone circle. The spacious bathroom enjoys both a large low-profile shower and full-size bath. Exclusive fishing is available for two rods on our lake.

Nestled in the heart of Wheelton village, Corner cottage is a cosy retreat ideal for visitors to this beautiful part of rural Lancashire. There are an abundance of pubs and eateries within easy walking distance of the cottage and you will love the local walks either on the canal towpaths, West Pennine moors or local woodlands. The village has a quaint and peaceful charm about it that you will also feel when you step inside the cottage.
