Big Sky Island Hideaway

From every window, this unique and peaceful home has breathtaking sea and mountain views. It is private, peaceful and rejuvenating and is ideally located for exploring all that Achill has to offer. The home has two bedrooms, a bathroom, an open-plan kitchen & living area, and a deck. Get close to nature, look for as far as the eye can see, watch the tide come in and go out, hear the rain and the wind, unwind in the sunlight, and take in an uninterrupted view of the Milky Way on a clear night.

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

There is dedicated office space as well and a walking closet, equipped with iron, ironing board and steamer. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living room provides plenty of seating spaces. No. 58 is a very cosy two bedroom mid terrace house opposite McHale Park (GAA) in Castlebar, Co. Mayo. The downstairs living area consists of a kitchen/dining, sitting room, work station and utility leading to an enclosed rear yard where one can bask in the sunshine and relax ! McHale road is a very friendly community in a cul de sac and is a 15 minute walk to the town centre with shops, pubs and entertainment. It is also a 10 minutes walk from the train station.

This is a small yet bright and airy studio chalet with a large veranda that serves as an extension of the living area allowing for alfresco dining, relaxing down-time overlooking a natural, calming vista or an opportunity for some early morning yoga stretches for those so incline.The setting is tranquil and secluded, approx 7km from Westport town and 2 km from a local shop. Food is supplied for a light continental style breakfast.

Cuckoo Wood Hexagon, 5km from Westport

This cabin has a hexagon shape with a square porch where the front door is. The Hexagon, as I call it, is situated on its own on land that is half orchard half woodland. On the morning sun side, where the door is, the decking leads to the little purpose built bathroom building. There is a perspex canopy so you can walk over staying dry even if it is raining. A few goats and a few hens roam in the adjoining field.
