We are about 30 minutes from Ballybeg wedding venue, and 40 minutes from Glendalough We recommend that you have a mode of transport as we are located in a rural area.

Gowran hosts the Gowran Races regulary throughout the year. Gowran Abbey is a must for a visit during your stay. In nearby Bennettsbridge is Nicholas Moss Pottery and restaurant. O neills pub in gowran has music at the weekends, and Oloughlins pub is just accross the road, no designated driver required

The Apartment at Sandbrook House is a separate self-contained flat within the main house which is situated on the County Carlow and Wicklow border with views of Mount Leinster.
