Thoroughly modernised - it even has electricity - yet full of the character of buildings of its time (1910), Tin House (formerly known as the Bothy) is a place of peace and eclectic interior decor. Surrounded by the woods and fields of secluded Glenquiech, from this little house you can walk or cycle for miles, undisturbed; or be still, and listen to the silence. Red squirrels scamper. Lawton Cottage: cosy, wood-fuelled rural seclusion

Lawton Cottage offers seclusion on the edge of a farm. Recently renovated, it is a space of delight and comfort for two people within easy reach of Lunan Bay, and has: a super king size bed with a Brooke and Wilde mattress a sitting room with sofa, chairs and a table for working a kitchen made of cat's paw burr elm from the farm a deep bath and close to net zero heating via a wood fired stove which heats radiators and hot water - logs provided Guest information on a link before arrival.

Stable Studio at Airlie Castle

A bright and comfortable open-plan space on the first floor of the old stable block on the Airlie estate, in the spectacular Angus Glens. High beamed ceilings give a spacious feel to the main room. Everything here is made from Douglas Fir ply, including walls, floor and furniture. It'll feel very cosy here at night with the lamps lit, the wood fire and the large bed with feather pillows and wool blankets. The loo and bathroom are down 4 steps, please note no dividing door. Minimum stay 1 night.

Golfing, Fishing , Kayaking round the Cliffs and Walking, are plentiful in and around the area with Carnoustie Golf Links a 15 minute drive. Bus and Train Station in town for those who want to venture further.
