Rainy Hill Retreat - The Cottage

A comfy Cottage in a unique setting. The property is located on 16 acres of natural bush and towering gum trees. Wake to the sound of the many types of native birds and at night watch out for the wombats, Wallabies and Kangaroos. We are not located within walking distance to shops but they are approximately a 7 minute drive away. Unfortunately we are not set up for children and babies to stay, we are adults only. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.

Nestled in the Dandenong Ranges, our cosy guesthouse is the perfect space for solo travelers or couples looking to explore the beauty of the area. The space offers a queen-sized bed, ensuite, a fully equipped kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave and stove. A back deck offers an opportunity to sit & relax. Within walking distance are a number of cafes and bushwalking tracks. PLEASE NOTE: the accommodation is directly at the back of the main house.

Our unit is separated from the main house by a double carport. As we are not near any public transport, a car is a must with ample parking available, including a carport. It is the perfect accommodation option for a self-sufficient, quiet, relaxing getaway.

Just a few minute walk to the shops in town and you have everything from cafes and restaurants to Aldi or Woolworths. The space is perfect for one or two people and close to public transport and local wedding venues in the local area.

A rustic wooden cabin nestled among towering pines, veiled in morning mist. Sunlight filters through the branches, casting dappled shadows on the forest floor. A babbling brook murmurs in the distance, accompanied by birdsong and the occasional glimpse of deer—time seems to slow here.
