Ideal for couples or small families, the cottages feature one queen bed and a queen sofa-bed (same room), a well-appointed kitchen and a 3-piece bathroom with a stand-up shower. The cottages are located on a 5 acre, boulder beach with occasional sandy patches. Ample parking. Located just 2 km from Ski Cape Smokey and 6 km from the National Park and beaches. Great ocean fishing on site.

Just minutes away from Cabot’s Landing provincial park, North Highlands Nordic cross country skiing and snowshoeing, gorgeous local hiking trails, Cape Breton Highland’s National park, whale watching, canoeing, kayaking, and so much more.

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

Cottage #3 holds a maximum of 2 people. This cottage has one bedroom with one double bed. Ideal for the couple that travels light. The living room features satellite tv and wifi. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker and utensils. The bathroom has a 48 inch fiberglass shower.
