Back Country Retreat is nestled under oak trees and surrounded by a natural rock setting. You will be greeted with several flower gardens. The retreat has a lovely flagstone patio with outdoor gas firepit and custom cedar bar. Pine Valley has clear night skies with no light pollution. You will feel right at home in this quiet neighborhood with access to the Cleveland National Forest for hiking, biking or birding. Owners live on the same property, so you may see them.

More like a national park than a home, we've found that guests enjoy the pace and peaceful surroundings and spend most of their visit without leaving. That being said, if you're feeling more exploratory, there are many options within a short drive including hiking, wine tasting, horseback riding, fishing, and even sky-diving.

The Brick House Is a Unique "Great Room" Guest House with 1,000 sq. ft. of space located on a 30 acre ranch nestled in the amazing San Diego Mountains. The house is surrounded by the Cleveland National Forest. There are trails on the property with breathtaking views plus direct access to Hiking, Mountain Biking, Trail Running and Horseback Riding. The ranch as a whole is simply beautiful! It is very private, quiet and makes for a great romantic getaway as well.
