As soon as you walk in time seems to stop, it will be difficult to leave. There is a magic here, perhaps it's the colors emanating from the natural walls & floor. Escape reality in this thoughtfully converted Woodland retreat, in the renowned and secluded 40 acre Pendarves bluebell woods. Near the historic mining town of Camborne, we are a short 20 minute walk from the mainline train station (6 by taxi). A plentiful supply of local attractions, reached most easily by those with their own vehicle. St Ives (13 miles), Falmouth (15 miles), Penzance (20 miles). Sadly we do not allow pets and due to the nature of the site, it is not wheelchair friendly.

The cottage is set in the walled kitchen garden, as well as having shared access to grounds of the main house, the swimming lake and woodland that forms the Trenoweth Estate. it is a mix of fabulously simple and rustic with all mod cons. Bolitho Barton is a historic farmstead in the wild centre of the peninsula, yet within easy reach of both the north and south coastlines. The Annexe is a cosy modern space adjoined to the old farmhouse, with its own conservatory and garden. There is an open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting room and an additional spacious conservatory which can be used for dining or just as another sitting area. The two bedrooms can be arranged as a twin room and a king-size double, or as two king-size doubles.

Chalet Starfish is in an amazing spot facing directly onto the dunes, just a short stroll to Gwithian beach. Great for walking, surfing and exploring the surrounding coast and nature. It’s a truly peaceful location with no passing traffic, close to cafes and pubs. We welcome well behaved dogs. We've recently refreshed the house with new flooring, paint and furniture but it still has all the quirkiness of a classic beach chalet, comfortable and relaxed. Short breaks available.

Storage on site to store bikes, surfboards etc if required and large driveway. We will be close by if you need any help, or ideas during your stay

Enjoy a tranquil holiday in our self-contained apartment set in a rural location. Suitable for a couple or small family. ( A sleeping gallery with single bed, accessed by ladder, suitable for active, sensible older child over 8 years). If the sleeping gallery bed is required it must be requested at the time of booking.
