A short walk to the community beach gives you opportunities for beach combing, summer and winter crabbing, canoeing or kayaking, and sometimes even whale sightings! Or just soak in the spa bathtub. This cabin is on the northwest part of Camano Island in the historic "Camp Lagoon" area, just 1-1/2 hours from Seattle, and is close to state parks, hiking, zip lining, and art. It is the perfect place to relax, explore, and enjoy life.

With its own private entrance, you will have the downstairs apartment in our gorgeous island home, surrounded by massive cedar and fir trees, lush landscaping, and a beautiful, large pond. Wander down to the pond, sit, meditate, absorb the pervasive peace of this property. Apartment amenities include washer, dryer, wi-fi, cable TV, fully-appointed kitchen. We also have a PacnPlay with sheet, if you have an infant/baby up to 2 years.

The Nut House

Glamping in the trees. Come experience the beauty and serenity of being in the forest in a unique craftsman treehouse on beautiful Camano Island just an hour and ten minutes north of Seattle. Your private parking and short trail leads to a short cable bridge into a cozy 150 sq. ft. cabin 13 ft above the forest floor. You’ll be surrounded by mahogany walls with a cozy full size futon up in the loft. If the futon is too cozy a campsite is available. The treehouse is warm even on chilly nights.

The island is also home to Camano Island State Park, which boasts 173 acres prime for camping, hiking and bird watching.

Private beach access is located less than two minutes from the front door and two single kayaks will allow you to enjoy all that the bay has to offer. Relax, unwind & enjoy!

This fully equipped very tiny house on wheels sits on a high bank waterfront lot overlooking Holmes Harbor. The white ship lap and exposed wood ceilings gives this tiny a beach house feel. Sit out on your tiny deck with a view or relax inside and enjoy sunset views thru the trees. We have seals in the 5 mile long harbor, and a very occasional visit from a whale. Eagles nest on the property. There is a public beach and boat launch just 2 miles down the road at Freeland Park.

Set on 3.5 acres, our guests enjoy privacy, and community-owned access to a beautiful beach, which is a short drive or walk away.

Private Suite on Small Farm

My place is located on a small scale produce farm on the north end of Camano Island. Private suite in farmhouse with private entrance, private bathroom, deck and small kitchenette. Relax on the deck or explore the multiple parks on the island that offer walks in the forest or along the beach. About one mile away you will find delicious pastries, coffee, pub and shops selling locally made goods. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

The Alpaca Farm Retreat

The Alpaca Retreat is located on 100 acres of private farm and forest land with sweeping views of Port Susan and Mt. Rainier. The newly renovated 3600 sq. foot house, spaciously accommodates up to 10 people and is located just 5 minutes from Stanwood. The location is quiet and relaxing with no visible neighbors. For active leisure, there is a basketball hoop, a pickleball court, a ping pong table, and best of all, the viewing of very cute alpacas!
