The E. Lauer & Sons building, built in 1903 by Emmanuel Lauer, originally housed the area's 1st general merchandise store selling farm equipment & more. Lauer also operated the Bank of Modoc County in the back (where this apt is now) & later added a furniture department. There is decks and a fenced grassy yard for a small/medium dog. There is a spacious living room with a fireplace, a big kitchen, a dining area, and a separate laundry room. Also, a large deck for BBQing and dining. Lounge chairs in back shaded deck. Please let me know if you are bringing a pet. This house is six people max.
