We have the best of both worlds, stunning countryside & easy access to local amenities. We’re on Domen Fawr which is over 1653ft high. At the top you can see Pen y Fan & central Brecons. Heads of the Valley is nearby & provides great access across South Wales. Cardiff is an hour away by train. We are a quiet retreat, ideal for walkers, young families or couples wanting a relaxing, peaceful break. Pets are welcome but there are additional charges. Please ask us in advance as we have our own dogs.

With stunning sunsets & clear night skies you're sure to get some great photos! Located near Cardiff & not far from the Brecon Beacons or National Heritage Coastline there is plenty to do

Blaenavon Log Cabin in the town of Big Pit

Get cozy and settle into this rustic space, close the curtains, light the log fire and chill to some music or maybe watch a film of your choice on Netflix. The cabin in situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons close to the market town of Abergaveny, with walks, Cycle rides including mountain biking, cold water swimming. The cabin as heating on at all times, but if you want that wow factor, light up the log fire and just relax. (If you have never lit a log burner we can show you how to do it)

Chapel House has mountain views and close to family-friendly activities. . The 17th Century house has been lovingly renovated, restoring many original features. It is ideal for for couples, families or business travellers . It is a 15 minute walk to the Historic Caerphilly Castle and 15 minutes drive/train to the city of Cardiff. It has a large balcony off the main bedroom where you can enjoy the superb mountain view. It is close to country walks, golf courses, cycle trails and country pubs.

Self contained studio apartment, with easy access to Cardiff and Pontypridd. Perfect for outdoor activities such as cycling, mountain biking, & hiking, with beautiful views of the countryside. The Ponty Lido (seasonal) outdoor pool is just 10 mins away. If you're looking for something more challenging we would recommend Caerphilly Mountain Bike Park, or relax in the forest with Mountain Yoga. Parking on drive, private side access, peaceful garden. Office chair & cot available on request.

A spacious 3 bedroom house located just a 5 minute walk away from Blackwood town and some lovely walks along the sirhowy river or even through the mountainous valleys. Parking is located at the property on a quiet street. There is also a very nice restaurant/pub just around the corner which over looks the river. The property is around 30 minutes away from Cardiff and 30 minutes away from the Brecon Beacons National Park. There is also a train station nearby.

The Crest Hilltop Retreat is a private, detached house with hot tub, gamesroom and log burner. It has stunning 180 degrees views of the valley and has fantastic local walks and bike routes from the doorstep. Local attractions include The Brecon Beacons National Park, Cardiff city and Bay, Bike Park Wales, Cwmcarn Forest, Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal and The Big Pit National Coal Museum. Perfect Dog walking country.

The Cwtch Cwt (Cuddle Hut) - Mountain-top Retreat

Stay in our serene shepherd’s hut, fully equipped with a cosy wood burning stove and WiFi to ensure you write home about our uninterrupted views across the Brecon Beacons to Pen-y-Fan. If you’re lucky, you’ll be treated to the best sunset you have ever seen. Please be aware that we are only accessible via a single tarmac track that winds up the mountainside. As such, access can be limited in the winter months.

Cabanau Bach- A cosy cabin stay in the Welsh hills

Our cabin comes equipped with fitted main electrics and running water, a kitchenette area, and separate wash facilities. There is a large double bedroom and double sofa bed in the living area. Please be aware that is a working farm so it can be uneven under foot. The track up to the cabin might be unsuitable for low lying cars, but we do have other parking available.
