A magical stroll through the woods leads to the suspension bridge. You won't believe you're only minutes from town. Wear appropriate shoes as it is a short 2-minute hike to the tree house. At times, it can get a little slick.

The Cabin

Whimsical cabin in the woods! This tiny house is 288 square feet on one floor. It has a queen size murphy "bed in a box." It boasts a full size bathroom and kitchen. Like many rural tiny homes, the unit is equipped with a composting toilet. As an option there is also a portable toilet adjacent to the cabin. Nestled in the foothills of the Tillamook Forest, the cabin is on a beautifully forested property with gardens, decks, trails, etc. A private drive & ample parking round out the amenities.

So you know: - Nearest market is about 10 miles away. We'll provide some basic things for the kitchen. - Guest house sits 50 yards from main house but is separate with lots of privacy.

This lovely tree top space is attached to our home and includes separate entry, complete privacy in the unit, has its own upstairs deck, and includes the use of our shared lower deck and hot tub. The kitchen is a "kitchenette" with no stove, but we do provide a single burner hot plate. Come practice "Shin Rin Yoku", the the stress- reducing essence of the forest. Trails, benches and platforms throughout the property provide a place to sit, enjoy the clean air, meditate, or do yoga.

Farmhouse rest and relaxation

An original valley homestead from late 1800's remains today with all the modern upgrades you'd desire for a comfortable stay. This is still a working small farm, but the house is yours - it is private with expansive grounds and pastoral views. The Outdoor kitchen, patio and fit pit extend the space to accommodate families and activities well into the evening. The Banks/Vernonia bike path is directly in front of the home and you are only 2 miles away from the town of Vernonia.
