Guest reports 3/26: Regular nightcrawlers (not green) worked for sunfish and largemouth bass. Chicken liver caught catfish. The white bass were hitting artificial crank baits You will likely not see another person unless you go to nearby state parks or wineries or to town for antiquing. Canoe & gear provided!

The Ranch Guest House is a private adobe home positioned on a working ranch in the beautiful Texas hill country. Just a couple miles outside of Burnet we’re close enough to make a quick trip to town and just far enough away to enjoy the peaceful countryside. The Guest House is located on a small hilltop overlooking cattle grazing land giving us amazing sunrises and sunsets to enjoy as well as plenty of wildlife. 3 Bedroom House with 2 Baths & a full kitchen. Living and Master Bedroom have a Wifi streaming TV. Large deck with Grill & plenty of space to fish or relax/suntan. Lots of fields and woods to walk. PRICE is for up to 6 guests. We are pet friendly; however, we do charge a pet fee. This is a working cattle ranch, and the cows visit the pond.
