Roaring Fork Chalet Long Range Views Mt Mitchell

The chalet is a warm and comfy place to relax, cool off, hike/bike a trail or two, enjoy long-range views(elevation is 3,383 feet - Mt Mitchell is 6,683), listen to some good music, sip your favorite drink, and rejuvenate your soul. Roaring Fork Chalet has paved roads that are all well-maintained. The mountain roads are curvy, and the subdivision is steep in parts. No four-wheel drive is needed to get to the chalet except in the winter months. Dog accepted with/ prior approval (fee applies).

Sitting on a 2-acre pasture with 2 small creeks that meet in the corner; with a sunset that goes down just above. Walk off the deck to feed "alpaca and friends". Collect fresh farm eggs and produce from the organic garden during season. Relax on the hammock or sit by the fire pit; while grilling your favorite foods.

Snowbird treehouse

A 10ftx10ft treehouse built around a hickory tree with a wood deck. It looks over a creek 30 feet below. There are electric switches/outlets and fan/oil heater. Climb a ladder to the sleeping loft with a standard full size bed. The loft has a peak high enough to stand up under. Cook outside on gas grill. No running water but there's a drinking water dispenser. The bathroom is a composting toilet and outdoor shower with solar tank at the end of a 25ft path, adjacent to the treehouse.

Enjoy a queen bed, coffee bar, mini-fridge, microwave, smart TV, spacious bath, and a private rooftop deck. Includes entrance, parking, and bike storage. Adjacent to Haylo if traveling with friends. We love kids, but the HiTop isn’t child-friendly and sound travels, so it’s best for adults.

The Treehouse is close to all that Asheville has and is only minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. You’ll love the ambiance, the outdoor space, and the comfortable accommodations. It is spacious; the largest treehouse on the east coast, and cozy and ultra comfortable. The treehouse is a good for couples, writers, painters, families, and furry friends (pets). My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

The Bird House

I created a passive solar tiny house, with tons of south facing windows & beautiful mountain views. It's located just 4 miles from downtown Marshall & it is about 20-25 mins. from both Asheville & Hot Springs. There are plenty of outdoor activities nearby which include horseback riding, rafting/paddling on the French Broad River, zip-lining, hiking (we have more details in the host guidebook). Come enjoy a nice peaceful stay in this modern tiny home surrounded by greenery.
