AIRD VILLA, Scalpay, on the Isle of Harris

Aird Villa with its south facing decking is said to be one of the nicest houses on the Isle of Scalpay. It sits overlooking Scalpay’s quiet North Harbour where the local fishing boats are moored. From the decking it's exhilarating watching the birds & boats as you are more or less right above the water's edge. The house has been renovated to a very high standard and is comfortable, light, spacious & warm. It has a modern clean feeling coupled with the charm of a traditional Scalpay island home.

Cabin on Cairn Geal Croft, Waternish, Isle of Skye

A cosy, open-plan cabin for two on the Waternish peninsula, overlooking the sea with outstanding views across Loch Snizhort to the ferry port of Uig, and south to Raasay and the mainland. The Cabin is on a small croft/farm and lies within its own garden. The Cabin has a maritime theme, free wifi, plenty of books & maps and a well provided kitchen. The Waternish peninsula offers abundant wildlife, and in the hamlet of Stein, next to the sea, a lovely old pub and a Michelin starred restaurant .

Manish Cottage

Well maintain Hebridean cottage style property, on the east coast of Harris. The cottage is set up cosy for summer or winter with electric heating . Cottage has, games ,books, picnic basket and a airfyer Smart TV DVD player .Dark Skies Area Excellent area for getting off the beaten track , otters, sea eagles . Close enough to Leverburgh for trips to St Kilda and all other amenities. Cottage on the shoreline with lovely bay. The east side of Harris is single track roads with passing places.

Tranquil Cottage with Stunning Sea Views

Number 6 is a cosy cottage just 4 miles from Tarbert. The house is in an elevated position which has stunning views of the sea and the old whaling station. It has a cosy sun room with a wood burner, as well as outdoor seating so you can take in the view in style. We offer week long stays, Friday to Friday, March to October. We then move to shorter stays (min of 3 nights) from November to February. The house also benefits from free WiFi and a local produce welcome hamper on arrival.

Seaview Chalet

A dog friendly, cosy retreat for couples on the Isle of Harris. Seaview Chalet is comfortable, well equipped and well maintained. With a sea loch in front and the of the North Harris hills behind, this is a hill walker's dream. A short drive to the North Harris eagle observatory or a walk to the local tennis court. We are only 5 minutes drive from the nearest shop and petrol station. Tarbert is just a 10 minute drive away as well. Out central location is perfect for exploring.

Two bedroom wooden cabin overlooking the Minch

Make some memories at this unique small house on a private croft hosted by Grant & Lorna who are from Harris and live 300m next door to the cabin. Our cabin has 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds, and a large open plan living space with kitchen. We are 10 minutes from Tarbert and 30 mins from the west side beaches. A wood burning stove will keep you warm in the evenings. A large wrap around balcony is lovely for sitting outside and watching the seals and otters in the bay.

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery is a green roofed, original wooden round house with picture windows giving an uninterrupted view of the sea across to the Isle of Scalpay and South East Harris. Features include a central dome roof window, a bath room, a kitchen, comfortable chairs and a wood burning stove, and of course a double bed. The property enjoys a southerly aspect with masses of natural light, is well insulated, warm and cosy

4 Tobair Mairi is an excellent Studio apartment located in the heart of Harris in the old village of Tarbert next to all amenities such as hotels shops cafes marina sports centre and of course the famous Harris gin distillery. It is Ideally placed to explore all the beaches and scenery that Harris and Lewis has to offer and then return home to relax with a glass. This apartment is excellent for disabled travellers.

Rockall Self Catering

Rockall is located in Tarbert, Isle of Harris. A 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal and all local amenities making it an ideal location to explore one of the main villages in Harris. It provides open plan living and separate bedroom with a double bed and storage space. All bedding and towels are provided. Outside veranda allows for extra seating and sheltered patio space.

The cottage is situated in the beautiful Bays area of Harris - full of local wildlife. It's a great base to explore Harris from - an easy, beautiful drive to the West Coast - or up to North Harris and beyond. But it's also a terrifically tranquil cottage with large garden and beautiful views if you just want to relax for a day or two instead in-between explorations.

Greenbank/ Goodfellow Self Catering/ Bunavoneader

Greenbank is just 4 miles northwest of Tarbert in the hamlet of Bunavoneader. This 'home from home' offers peace and tranquility in a rural setting with an open outlook over West Loch Tarbert. Mountains surround the property and Greenbank shelters in the lee of the majestic Clisham, the highest peak on Harris. It is an ideal base for couples or a family of four.
