Fall asleep to the sound of the Tasman sea lulling you to sleep. The house is equipped for longer stays to make the most of the area and National park all within walking distance. Walk south along the beach to the Punakaiki lagoon or just 5 mins north to the Pancake rocks. A special place to stay awhile.

A remote, private garden retreat complete with Labyrinth and off-grid hot tub (advance notice). This self-contained little house for 2 was once a Honey house. Ruru Nest Property is next to a river and farmland, just a few minutes outside of the village of Karamea with its cafes and pubs. Local food, nature connection walks available as extras to complete your stay.

All Welcome😊 Enjoy a night or two on the beautiful Westcoast. Our little tiny house offers a unique and coastal experience in Westport. Over the summer, we have our retro pop top that sleeps and extra 2 people. During winter we can accommodate 5 in total utilising an extra private room. Our little room has quality bedding, 1 queen, and 1 single, sleeps 3. Brand new private bathroom. Enjoy an outdoor fire overlooking the garden and paddocks.. We can accommodate up to 6 people.

An abundance of activities such as kayaking, surfing, mountain biking, walking, swimming and stand up paddle boarding await only a few minutes walk away.

A two storey "woodsy" beachfront home on an elevated site from which views of the Coast, Nikau and Rata forest can be enjoyed in the open plan living/kitchen area. The balcony puts you right amongst the natural scenery as does the courtyard with its open fire place for outdoor leisure.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families.

Take a break in this beautifully converted Bedford Bus with stunning views up the Lyell range and Matiri valley. Sits on the edge of the Kawatiri/Buller river right on the edge of town. Look down across the river from the comfort of your bed and go to sleep to the sounds of the water flowing just metres away. Relax beneath the stars in beanbags by the outside fire pit or prop up the bar. Plenty of entertainment for a chilled getaway.

Lovely swimming holes close by and your very own private nature walk. Super close to the start of The Old Ghost Road and can help with travel arrangements if necessary. Also a beautiful breakfast available at $20 per person on request.
