B&B with Garden View in Stunning Art Nouveau House

Explore galleries in the Arts District and stroll back to a majestic century house teeming with original character. Climb stairs to the privacy of a second floor room with en suite shower room. Awaken when morning light peeks through a south-facing skylight. Breakfast is served at convenience in the Dining room. Public car parking in the street is possible but paying. Guests rooms are situated on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The 1st Floor is private. The guests Breakfast room and salon are shared, and situated on the ground floor. In summer breakfast on the terrasse is possible. The gym room is in the basement. Ironing is possible in the laundry room, near the gym, upon request. The house was built in 1909, and is located in the upper Saint-Gilles district. This is the Art Nouveau and Art Deco area, also known for its many art studios and exhibition spaces. Plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and amenities are close by. PUBLIC TRANSPORT The public transports for Brussels region are called STIB (or MIVB in flemish) and include Metro, Tram and Bus. SNCB is the national train operator   Most Metro/Tram stations have only tickets vending/cards loading machines. It is only in main hub stations that tickets and cards can be purchased from the public counter.   Tram, metro and bus are integrated with transfers allowed. Each ticket or journey on a multiple journey card is valid one hour, irrespective of transfers.   Brussels residents use a personalised MOBIB card. Visitors use an anonymous MOBIB card, which can be loaded with 1,  5 or 10 journeys. It can be used by several persons, provided it is validated for each person and for each trip.   On board a tram or bus, you can only purchase single journey tickets, but this is a more expensive option. ARRIVING FROM BRUSSELS MIDI TRAIN STATION Taxi from Bruxelles Midi (Brussels Zuid) train station: +/- 12€. You can also take the underground tram 3 or 4 or 51 respectively direction Winston Churchill or Stalle or Van Halen , and hop off at station Horta. Then walk uphill along the Chaussée de Waterloo and avenue Ducpétiaux is the 4th street on your right. The house is situated on the left side. ARRIVING FROM BRUSSELS AIRPORT (ZAVENTEM) Taxi from Brussels National airport: +/- 50€. From the airport, it is faster and often cheaper to take the train to Brussels-Midi. From Bruxelles-Midi, you can take a taxi for +/- 12€. Alternatively, you can also take the underground tram 3 or 4 or 51 respectively. See above for details. TO GO TO BRUSSELS CENTER Via MIDI station You can either take tram 3 or 4 at HORTA direction Esplanade or Gare du Nord, and step off at BEURS/Bourse (eg to go to Grand Place). Via SABLON / ZAVEL Take tram 92 at MA CAMPAGNE direction SCHARBEEK and step off at SABLON or PALAIS; from there you can walk down to Grand Place in 10 minutes Walking You can walk to town in about 25 minutes, via Avenue Louise and Sablon. Nous sommes heureux de vous accueillir dans nos belles chambres situées dans un bâtiment de 1850 en plein cœur de Bruxelles. Nos chambres ont été meublées avec amour & soin, pour vous assurer un séjour confortable. Nous avons collaboré avec des projets locaux pour réutiliser d'anciens matériaux, ce qui donne une touche rétro-chic à notre maison. Nous sommes parfaitement situés dans un quartier calme mais à une courte ballade du centre historique, des restaurants, des transports, des magasins...

Chambre avec lit "Box" pour 1 ou 2 personnes située au calme et à côté de la ville. Pas loin des transports publiques (15 min à pieds) qui vont vers le centre-ville. A 650 m d'une longue rue commerçante "de wand" et de divers supermarchés. A 1,9 km de l'atomium et Bruxelles "Expo", à 900 m de la tour japonaise, à 1,2 km des serres royales de Laeken et à 5 min. en tram du "Shopping Dockx". Pas loin de l'aéroport. En même temps près de la nature pour les promenades. Bref, le bon équilibre.

In the basement, you'll find the fitness room and cinema, as well as the laundry room, which is free to use (no products provided). The bedroom and shower room (with toilet) are private. The rest of the house is shared between Airbnb guests.
