"The Shed"

At first glance, yes it's a shed. But explore further and you will find an unique Aussie experience, a fully functional self contained room. Shower, toilet and kitchenette. All private and seperate from our house. It's normally used for overnighters by family and friends. Please be open minded in your expectations, it's not the Ritz, Hilton, Taj Mahal but what it is clean, tidy, private affordable accomadation. Single or couple. Please note that toilet, shower and sink are located in same room.

The property was rebuilt from the ground up in 2017, blending original timber beams and local stone with contemporary design to offer guests a haven of peace and comfort. Enjoy panoramic views of rolling hills, spectacular Barossa sunsets, kangaroos amongst the vines and blue wrens on the lawn.

WHISTLER VINEYARD RETREAT

Our retreat gets you back to nature... with vineyard and scrub walks, (accompanied by at least one of our Border Collies), friendly geese, an inquisitive free-roaming peacock, hens, rescued & wild kangaroos, the occasional Koala and a myriad of birdlife. Drop into a winery, enjoy a balloon ride across the Barossa or just kick back enjoy the pace of life. Please note a booking for two guests will allow access to one bedroom in the house. If you require both bedrooms you must book for a minimum of three guests. All guests must be over 18.

The suite opens to small courtyard garden and is a 15 metre walk to the deck overlooking our vineyard. Take in these unparalleled views while enjoying a glass of Hewitson Wines.

Situated in the heart of the Barossa Valley and nestled amidst 9 acres of vineyard, this fully renovated 1860's cottage is only 5 minutes walk to Tanunda's coffee shops and restaurants With magnificent vineyard and rural views you can enjoy a glass of wine whilst relaxing in the heated plunge pool or enjoying the comfort of an open fire place.
