Waddle Self Catering

The Waddle is a traditional Shetland croft house, refurbished to offer a homely and comfortable stay for guests. Situated in a peaceful, quiet, remote location just over a mile from the nearby village of Walls, tucked in under the hill overlooking a sea-loch, it's a perfect place to enjoy Shetlands wildlife, scenery, peace and freedom. The Waddle is situated on an active croft. We have approximately 250 sheep with lambing in the spring, silage baling in the summer and feeding in the winter.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Centrally located on mainland Shetland approximately 10miles (16km) from Lerwick on the beautiful peninsula of South Whiteness. Located near the shore this property offers guests a unique haven nestled within a working croft. The large glass fronted living space offers a beautiful view of Whiteness Voe with its abundance of flora, seal life & wildlife. Your host has an extensive local knowledge of places of interest and areas to visit.

Newhall Cottage

Newhall Cottage is a traditional Shetland croft house which has been refurbished to the highest standard. The cottage is situated on the island of Bressay and has stunning views over the harbour to Lerwick. Set in a peaceful location on its own with garden and nearby mail beach which is a two minute stroll along a single track road makes our cottage the perfect lace to relax and unwind while on holiday in Shetland. The cottage is only 7 minutes by ferry from Shetlands Capital Lerwick.

Located on historic St Olaf Street in the very heart of Lerwick, the Peerie Hoose is a 1 bedroom detached property sleeping 2 people & offering exceptional accommodation on one level; no internal/external stairs. Within minutes walking distance of the local shops, harbour & coastal walks, restaurants, cinema, museum, music venues & bars. A very cosy modern Peerie (small in Shetland dialect) Hoose in a fantastic location; relax & enjoy your visit whilst we take care of your accommodation.

East-Gate Selfcatering

East-Gate was built new in 2018 the property is located in central Shetland and beautifully finished. Outside the patio door takes you onto a decked area which you can sit out on for your morning cuppa or evening glass of wine or to simply take in the scenery . It has the latest air to air heating and air con. We are very lucky to have a hot spot for otter sighting on our door step just a short walk down the field. The sea views and coastal walks makes this an ideal tranquil location.

Sea Winds, is a newly renovated c. 1760 two-storey listed townhouse located in the picturesque south end of Commercial Street, Lerwick. With beautiful open views over Bain's Beach, you can enjoy life by the sea with all the modern comforts of the house has to offer, including a wood burning stove. Close to the BBC series 'Shetland 'Jimmy Perez' home', and minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and pubs in Lerwick, Sea Winds makes an excellent base to tour the isles.

Comfortable two bedroom cottage, situated in the centre of Lerwick. The cottage has recently been refurbished, and is decorated with a modern feel. Located on King Harald Street, the cottage is within walking distance of Lerwick town centre, near various cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops. Please be aware that there are two sets of steps to get up to the cottage (27 in total), so it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues, or prams/buggies.

There are open views up to Lerwick Town Hall and County Buildings. It is close to all amenities and an ideal base from which to explore Shetland. The main shopping street is only 1.6 mile from the property or the bus stop is only 250meters down the road from the property. There are beautiful beaches, many cafes & eateries, entertainments, museums and circular walks in Lerwick. Great central base for day trips into the countryside too.
