Visit the Huguenot Memorial Museum to learn about local history. Uber is recently available in Franschhoek but does have a limited presence (after 11pm/12pm). The Moongazing Cabin @ 9 Mount Bain

The Moongazing Cabin is a tranquil timber mountain cabin located on the 660ha Mount Bain Private Nature Reserve in the Bain's Kloof Valley overlooking the Waaihoek and Witzenberg Mountain Ranges. The area provides excellent choices for hiking, swimming, kloofing, birding, driving, wine tasting, seeing snow in winter or just relaxing. The cottage is equipped with gas stove, fridge and hot water and has a solar panel installation for charging electronic devices.

You’ll love the cottage because of the spacious, private, setting on a working wine and fruit farm nestled against the mountains of Franschhoek Valley. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). You are welcome to explore the farm and even practice your chipping and putting skills on the green.There is an inverter to provide electricity during loadshedding periods.

The cottage is a perfect destination for a couple, but can sleep up to four people in 2 inter-leading bedrooms. It is fully equipped for self catering with a 2 plate gas stove, bar fridge, crockery, cutlery, bed-linen, towels and a braai area (barbeque) with a vine-covered pergola.

It has a gas stove, solar geyser and an inverter so TV, lights, fridge and wifi not affected at all. It is well-equipped for long stays, centrally located in the Robertson wine valley on route 62. Enjoy lovely views of the vineyards, orchards and moutains.

Kingston Cottage is a self-catering cottage situated 5 km from Franschhoek, neighbouring the beautiful La Motte Wine Farm and close to well-known destinations such Moreson, The Franschhoek Beer Co. and Maison. The property is a smallholding with a main house and additional cottage. It is home to three horses and our much-loved cat after whom Kingston cottage is named.

About an hour and a half from Cape Town, near the Nuy valley, Amandalia farm is home to Saggy Stone Brewery as well as these unique A-frame wooden cottages

We have created this unique rental situated in our favourite part of a 222 hectare farm.
