The property also enjoys door step access to numerous scenic walks for both the seasoned walkers or those who enjoy more gentle strolls in the countryside.

Lambsquay House - Apartment One

Lambsquay House is a beautifully restored 300 year old Georgian Country House, located in the picturesque Forest of Dean, situated between popular tourist attractions, Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves. A former hotel, it has undergone extensive renovations and is now home to Calico Interiors, a family run interiors/soft furnishing business, occupying the ground and first floor. The second floor has been converted into two self catering apartments with private entrance accessed via a staircase.

The Cosy Corner is a light and airy holiday home for 2 people tucked away in the centre of Hay on Wye. It's newly renovated to high standard with contemporary furnishings and a private garden with a wood fired hot tub (extra £). Think cool, clean interior but with cosy rugs, fluffy sheepskins and modern Welsh blankets. It's perfectly situated to explore Hay on Wye with it's array of vintage, fashion, home and map shops plus an abundance of cafe’s, restaurants, pubs and even a music venue.

Just ten minutes drive from Cardiff centre. Self-contained and tucked away, once inside the studio you would never know you're in the heart of Birchgrove, Cardiff, with a great range of facilities and buses just a minute’s walk away. The studio has a shower room and well-equipped kitchenette. With a double bed & sofa bed, the studio can sleep four people, plus a travel cot & high chair. Wifi, Netflix & Amazon TV are provided. The studio has a wood burner, central heating & shared patio.

Cosy accommodation for four in a small village. Access via external metal stairs to open plan living area, fitted kitchen with dishwasher. Two bedrooms, one with double bed, other with two singles. Bedding and towels provided, electric heating in all rooms and free private off road parking. One mile from Hay-on-Wye (just over a mile away) with plenty of local walks. James' Place@Dowlais offers 7 individually and creatively styled self-catering studios. They are ideally placed for exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park, visiting Bike Park Wales, Zip World South or working away from home. We are dog friendly and there is a £20 charge per dog per stay. In addition we are happy for bikes to be stored in the main hall under the stairs if you bring chain and padlock or taken into your studio providing they are clean.

This is a stylish but small space, perfect for two.

A large flat within a lovely, quiet Edwardian house with outstanding views of Hereford Cathedral and the Welsh Mountains. A great place to explore from or just to relax. On a summer evening enjoy a drink on the balcony and in the winter curl up by the woodburner. The flat is not ideal for very late nights out and isn’t safe for children or pets. Tea, coffee and basic breakfast items are provided.
