Hinterland Barn, national park, cafés, restaurants

This uniquely built barn situated in the Gold Coast hinterland is within walking distance to national parks. Made from recycled wharf timber, the barn is set on an 18 acre farm beset by green lawns. A king bed with ensuite, separate shower & bath make up the loft bedroom. Downstairs features a second bathroom / laundry, fire place, lounge, study & self inflating bed (inflatable bed linen not included), dining & fully equipped kitchen before walking onto a large deck overlooking the rainforest.

Unwind in the artisan clay rendered walls with your own private, luxurious bathhouse, off-grid, fireplace, firepit, organic gardens + chooks. Our 'Wellness Menu' provides complimentary, in + outhouse experiences. Suits couples, health/ wellness retreats + small families.

The Rustic Greenhouse: fireplace/wood provided

A rustic studio attached to the family home, with its own entrance. Refresh with a complimentary cheese board. Enjoy the plant filled space where you can enjoy a breakfast of fresh bread, eggs, cereal, milk, butter, jam, honey & coffee. At night light the fireplace with the wood provided. Take the picnic basket and rug provided, & explore the Mountain. We are located on the Main Road leading into Gallery Walk. If you are sensitive to road noise we might not be the perfect place for you.

Firefly at Big Bluff Farm

Relax and rejuvinate at Big Bluff. Light pollution is making it harder for fireflies to attract mates. We have named our newest cabin Firefly after nature's luminous wonders which flit through the forest in spring. Firefly feels like a million miles away from daily existence, perched on a hill overlooking rolling farmland and forested gullies. Little Bird Cottage is situated in a quiet, private rainforest grove on Tamborine Mountain. It's character both inside and out is French/English Country with the added romantic atmosphere generated by its secluded rainforest setting. An excellent place to unwind and is within walking distance to Gallery Walk, the Botanical Gardens, National Parks and numerous quality eating venues. Separated by Rainforest trees from the main house this cottage provides guests with privacy and tranquility.

With stunning Hinterland, Pacific Ocean & Gold Coast skyline views, Dragonbrook cottage is a perfect retreat for a romantic getaway or tranquil reset. Be surrounded by the sounds of the bush and our native rainforest, lookout for our resident wild koalas, padymelons, wedgetail eagles, bandicoots, & water dragons that live in our brook. Dine under the stars & enjoy a glass of wine under our mountain edge gazebo. Visit Tamborine's wineries, hiking trails, markets, & breath taking lookouts.

The Beechmont Chalet Hinterland Getaway

The Beechmont Chalet is the perfect hinterland getaway. The Chalet has been recently renovated, it is the perfect mixture of character from the original establishment and modern features. This unique home features large windows for star gazing over the Gold Coast hinterland, a beautiful veranda to have coffee or watch sunsets, a bath in the clouds & a fireplace to keep you toasty in the winter. The chalet is fully self-contained with all the necessities you need to have an amazing stay.
