Whether admiring Northern Lights from the hot tub in winter or sipping wine on the patio in summer, our cozy wooden cabin is the perfect getaway for your stay in Iceland. The cabin is located in a beautiful and quiet surroundings with many opportunities for great hikes and other nature experiences all year round, not far from Reykjavík and only ten minutes drive from the town of Borgarnes. There you can find all essentials, visit museums and shops and indulge at our favorite café, Kaffi Kyrrð.

Inside you will find 2 bedrooms with double beds, and a attic with 2 single beds, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower. Outside you can relax on the terrace, in the garden, go for walk along river or hike near hills. A cozy old cottage about 90min drive from Reykjavik and 30min from Borgarnes, close to the river Nordura. The view is magnificent. Svartagil is about 3 km from the main road nr 1 on road nr 528. It has two bedrooms one with 1,40 m bed and other with 1,20 m. Bathroom with a shower, a fully equipped kitchen and living room. There is a hot tub.
