A variety of dining options are available locally or simply provide for yourselves in the well equipped kitchen area.

Enjoying a unique setting with sweeping views down the Glen, Balnacraig Farmhouse is located midway between Loch Ness and the city of Inverness ( 5 Minutes each way). Sitting in an historic highland estate the secured location has fully fenced gardens offering direct access to hill and forest walks up to the Great Glen Way and the wilderness of the highlands and yet is only minutes from the amenities of a major town and nearby transport hubs. It is also a great starting point for the North 500.

We are next door, but you will have complete privacy with your own entrance, driveway and parking. This area is a wildlife haven and there is a very good chance you will spot red squirrels coming to feed on the bird table outside Lovely view of the woods and gorgeous sunsets. Perfect spot for nature lovers.

Thistledown is a one bedroom spacious and modern holiday home for 2 set in the beautiful rural location of Strathnairn. Surrounded by countryside it has stunning views of the Monadhliath Mountains but just a 15 minute car ride from the city of Inverness, perfect for a peaceful break. Willow Cottage is a quaint old cottage in a quiet courtyard in the centre of Inverness which has been carefully renovated to provide bright, welcoming accommodation for up to 4 guests. The Scandi style open plan living room/kitchen has a white oiled wooden floor and wood burning stove. There is a shower room downstairs and a bathroom upstairs, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. In the small garden there is a patio for outside dining and a parking space for one car in the shared courtyard.

Knockanbuie is a quiet, cosy holiday cottage in rural Nairnshire, with beautiful open views from every window. It was refurbished recently and has underfloor heating and a woodburning stove in the sitting room. It is a perfect place for family and friends to relax. The cottage and garden are for your use, there is a large area of lawn and grass all around the cottage. An ideal location for exploring the rich history of Scotland and to enjoy nature with lochs, beaches, forests and rivers nearby.

A cosy mid-terraced fishermans cottage, now with a wood burner, located only 1 minute walking distance to the gorgeous Shandwick beach. Ideal for a peaceful seaside holiday retreat. Shandwick is one of three small coastal communities that along with Balintore and Hilton that make up the seaboard villages. Logs: we provide a bag of logs for each stay per week.If you require extra logs, I can provide contact details of logs providers locally. Well behaved (not too large) dogs also welcome.

The recently refurbished and modernised Ethel's Cottage is in an idyllic location, flanked by two rivers. This gate lodge cottage offers the perfect place to stay for a few nights or longer! Easily accessed from the A9 (on the NC500 route) and just a two-minute walk from a secluded beach and estuary with lots of short walks from the front door and plenty longer ones in the vicinity. Modern appliances and comfortable furnishings, the cottage has everything you will need for a relaxing break.

Foulis Castle Gate Lodge

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.
