Explore the rockpools upon sunrise and watch the tides come in at sunset while you sip on a wine or two with uninterrupted views. Enjoy dinners cooked over the barbeque with the complimentary hot plate available on deck or head to one of the many local eateries like Caffé Primo in nearby Minlaton or the Tavern on Turton in the popular town of Point Turton, both approximately 15 minutes drive away. Featuring 3 spacious bedrooms consisting of: – · a queen bed with ocean views in room 1 · a queen bed with baby cot in room 2 · and 2 sets of single bunks ideal for children & teens in room 3 All rooms have the added comfort of ceiling fans, while room 3 has also been thoughtfully equipped with books, toys and lamp lights fitted above the upper bunks for your kids to snuggle up with reading for some down time. Each room comes with quilts and covers, as well as pillows. You only need to bring your own sheets and pillow cases. The house also has a washing machine and dishwasher for your convenience. And besides towels, everything else is covered! OVENDEN LODGE offers dog-friendly accommodation, in a self-contained "granny flat" surrounded by open paddocks at the southern entrance to historic Gawler. With its ponies, birds and chickens, it is a quiet, private retreat for 1-2 adults, complete with cedar hot tub and sauna. Unfortunately, due to the ponds and animals on the property, Ovenden Lodge is NOT suited for children. Dogs and ponies are welcome by individual prior arrangement.
