Luxurious Self Catering Annex

Thatched Cottage Annex has been newly converted to a very high standard and offers comfortable self catering accommodation. It is set in two and a half acres of private paddocks and woodland within the South Downs National park and offers easy access to Goodwood Race course, the beautiful villages of Petworth, Midhurst and Arundel and is only 15 miles from the coast. We are pleased to offer private off road parking behind electric gates. You also have your own private dog friendly garden which can be used for Al Fresco dining as it has a BBQ, a large comfortable double bedroom with solid oak flooring, a fully equipped kitchen complete with hob, microwave/oven/grill and fridge, a wetroom walk in shower with underfloor heating and a lovely seating area with leather chairs sky TV and internet access. A mile down the road is Charlie's Farm shop which stocks all their own produce and also provides a selection of wines. Nearby there are numerous cycle paths, walks and golf courses.. We recommend a car but there are a large number of local country pubs within a 3 mile radius that offer a wide varity of menus. Please note: We are now pleased to be able to offer 'Elderflower', our newly acquired Shepherds Hut as an alternative to the annex or to compliment it if four person accommodation is required. The Shepherds Hut is located 50m from the annex, within the grounds of Thatched Cottage. It is also listed on this website.

Our restful cabin is situated in a peaceful spot within our garden, with views on to open fields and the Downs beyond. It offers a perfect rest spot for walkers and cyclists exploring the beautiful countryside on and around the South Downs Way. Our village has two fabulous pubs, a unique village shop with its own little outdoor cafe, and is just a 15 minute drive from the market town of Petworth, Polo at Midhurst, 20 minutes from Goodwood, and 1/2 hour from the Cathedral City of Chichester.

A peaceful 1 double bedroom en suite annexe (attached to house but seperated by a locked door) within the South Downs National ParK. A short drive takes you to Goodwood, Arundel, miles of South Downs Way walking and various beaches. We offer a self catering kitchenette with light airy living space. The cottage is newly renovated with many of it's beautiful original features restored. Situated on a quiet private road, bordered by woodland, and brilliantly placed for Petworth, Midhurst, Goodwood, walking on the South Downs, and the delights of Chichester and the South Coast. Compact and cosy, Hazelnut Corner offers one double bedroom, one single room, modern shower room, and an open plan kitchen, dining and living space. Outside is a small private patio area
