Private Bachelor apartment sized house directly on Lake Erie. ULTRA FAST WI-FI, Private deck, Kayaks. The Cottage is always toasty warm all winter long. Queen bed, bathroom with shower, kitchenette. Great swimming in shallow, sandy waters. Cottage is only a few minutes from many area wineries, breweries, distilleries and fantastic restaurants serving local food. This property is conveniently placed on a gorgeous usually quiet, private lake-front lot on the shores of Lake St. Clair with a break wall. No docking and not suitable for swimming. Enjoy public pathways, boat launch, docking, parks, beaches and kayak/ paddle board rentals, stores and many entertainment near by for all ages. Usually greeted upon check in/ Self check-in with coded key pad lock. Recent updates: Wifi has been updated, and we now have a larger parking area for our guests.

You'll be staying in our newly constructed carriage house at the back of our property in the heart of Corktown - Detroit's oldest historic neighborhood. This private dwelling is accessed from the back alley entrance and offers high ceilings and a panoramic view of downtown and the surrounding neighborhood. The unit features 1 bedroom/1 bath, living, dining, laundry and a full kitchen. In warmer months a small cafe seating area is situated on the spanish rock drive along the green alley.

Come relax at the Lavender House's upper flat! The space is overflowing with old world charm, hardwood floors, stained glass, and a large balcony facing downtown Detroit. The house was built in 1900. It is nestled next to an ambling flower garden and wooded area, with ample space for outdoor hangs. There is a fire pit and playscape for the little ones. We are just 2 miles from downtown so you can enjoy what the city has to offer, then unwind in this lovely urban countryside.
