Welcome to Cedar’s Rest. Nestled in between surrounding Cedars, centered in a 26 acre hayfield just minutes from the blue ridge parkway. Read a book while lying on the hammock listening to all the beautiful sounds of nature. It’s great for birding and watching wildlife. Two bedrooms with plush King beds. Full bathroom with walk-in shower, full sized stove, and refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, Grill, WIFI and television! Outside you can enjoy a covered deck or sit around the fire pit.

Southwest Spirit Cabin retreat

Escape and relax in our spirit of the southwest themed cabin in the mountains. Enjoy your own cabin equipped with a kitchenette, queen bed, sofa, tv, dining table, private bath with tub and a patio to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the ponies and nature. Close to the Blue ridge parkway, the AT trail and Peaks of Otter. Please note this is a SMOKE & ALCOHOL FREE property as a wellness retreat. Not a party place. NO PETS or CHILDREN. 1 room offgrid cabin fenced in and private overlooking Stoney Creek includes queen size bed, table and chairs along with outside relaxing area. Solar charging for lights, phone, ceiling and window fans. Mr. Buddy propane space heater to stay warm. Gas/propane generator for running AC. Hot shower and bathroom 100 yards away. Offgrid cabin is located 5 miles from Blue Ridge Parkway and Appalachian Trail, just minutes from Bedford. Very peaceful and quiet next to the mountain stream.

Black Water Junction Cabin

Our cabin is built out of old wood and doors found on the farm. Because I am such a cold natured person, I installed heated floors and a heated towel bar in addition to the mini-split and electric fireplace! The cabin is surrounded by pastures that are the home to our cows, horses, goats, pot belly pig, and chickens. The highlight of a stay at BWJ Cabin would be to sit on the front porch in a rocking chair, day bed swing or hot tub looking out over the landscape and do nothing.

This lake retreat is located 1.5 mi. from the State Park, near the SML Dam - buoy marker C5. Nestled in a quiet cove perfect for swimming, fishing, and all water sports. Gentle slope leads to private beach and dock where you can tie up your own boat. Boat rentals and public boat launch 2 mi. away at Parkway Marina. 3 levels of deck seating w/ beautiful lake views. King size bed, 2 twins in loft, 1 full bed in each lower level bedroom. 1 queen sofa bed in lower level TV room.
