This comfortable, updated stone-built cottage is the ideal base for an adventurous break in the Snowdonia National Park. At the base of the Nant Peris Valley, one of the most dramatic in Britain, it is perfectly located for climbing Snowdon. The accommodation is great for one or two couples, or a small family. In our tiny village of Nant Peris we have a great local pub with ales, good food and an inglenook fire a stroll from your front door. Castles,beaches and adventures- Snowdonia has it all.

The perfect base for visiting Eryri (Snowdonia) National park, the Slate Landscape World Heritage site and the extensive range of activities which Llanberis has to offer: walking/climbing/biking/swimming/paddle board, canoe etc Llanberis path for Snowdon (Y Wyddfa), lake, Sherpa bus stop are just a short walk from the house.

The Barn is situated in a stunning and idyllic location surrounded by nature, and yet within easy access to the village and the start of the main Snowdon footpath.The Barn has been sensitively restored and maintains many of it's original features,including crog loft (upstairs sleeping area with limited head room, accessed via steep stairs) and exposed beam ceilings, kitchen area and bathroom with free standing bath. Our cottage has a wood burning stove, which keeps you cosy on winter evenings. Situated right by Trawsfynydd lake, with amazing views. If peace and tranquility is what you are looking for then this is the perfect spot for you. Sorry no pets. And no swimming or inflatables allowed on Trawsfynydd lake as it’s primarily a fishing lake. Great cycle and footpath round the lake for any one wanting to get out. We are situated inside the snowdonia national park so plenty of places to visit close by.
