Simply Sailing-A Cottage In The Trees

Simply Sailing is a quaint one bedroom, one bath cottage that sleeps four, located at Barren River Lake. The home has everything you need for your stay. Basic cooking utensils, a charcoal grill, TV with DVD player with movies and board games are there for the perfect family vacation. We have recently added a smart TV to the bedroom. We do welcome "small" family pets ($75 non-refundable fee) "Free Wi-Fi" We also have a cabin next door that sleeps 4 for larger groups called, Fishy Business.

The corvette museum, beech bend park, WKU, shopping, restaurants, mammoth cave national Park, Nolan lake, cave city, and Kentucky down under are only a short drive away from the farm! Unique features include: a fire-pit, a barn that can house horses, and a front porch that provides a perfect view of the sunset daily!

The Mattingly farm is home to Kenny's Cheese - farmstead cheese made right here onsite. You will be welcomed by our friendly dairy cows and possibly a new baby calf or two. Simply because our cheese is AMAZING, we will leave some in the fridge for you to try!
